Food Hygiene
The aim of the course is to provide you as a food handler with the knowledge to produce safe food both at work and at home and it is designed to do this without any previous knowledge of food hygiene.
This qualification covers:

Health and Safety
There are several Health and Safety qualification available, including:
- CIEH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace

- COSHH for Supervisors
- Safe Use of Ladders

Visual Merchandising
This course is designed to improve visual merchandising skills, and therefore increase the productivity of your business.

Security
The minimum age for access to this qualification is 18. The Security Industry Authority (SIA) will always carry out identity and criminal record checks on anyone who applies for a licence. To get approved qualifications you will need to attend a two part training course and pass two exams. Upon approval the license will be issued by the SIA and will be valid for three years.
This course covers the following areas:
- Introduction of the role of the Security Officer
- Customer Care and social skills
- Fire safety
- Health and safety
- Dealing with incidents and emergencies
- The Law (Civil and criminal)
- Procedures for the control of keys and equipment
- Reporting
- Communication skills
- Conflict management
Conflict Management
This course is designed for anyone who may find it useful to be able to prevent and manage conflict in the workplace.
The following areas are covered:
- Exploring what are the conflict situations in your company and how they are currently dealt with
- Exploring generic sources of conflict such as employment relationships, competition of scarce resources, ambiguity over responsibility and authority, interdependence and differentiation
- Working with strategies and techniques for overcoming or minimising conflict
- Understanding your personal preferences using the Thomas Kilman model/questionnaire
- Using case studies/role plays to apply learning
Equality and Diversity
The qualification is ideal for candidates who are interested in improving their understanding of issues surrounding equality and diversity.
There are three mandatory units that you need to study to successfully complete this course:
